23rd Annual Taste Of Charlotte Festival Kicks Off At Truist Field

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — You know what’s better than trying to describe food? Yup, it’s eating it. Head out to Truist Field this weekend to sample a variety of eats from local vendors in the 23rd Annual Taste Of Charlotte.

The festival, held from October 1st through October 3rd, is presented by Food Lion and features over 100 food samples from different area restaurants.

There will also be a variety of performances and activities for adults and kids alike, with Play All Day wristbands on sale for $15 per person on Saturday and $12 per person on Sunday.

The hours of Taste of Charlotte are as follows:

  • Friday 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission to Taste of Charlotte is free.

To purchase food on-site there will be festival coins for sale through the Taste of Charlotte app here or at booths located throughout the festival.

A large cup of coins containing 15 coins costs $20 and a small cup containing 7 coins costs $10.

The festival located on Tryon Street now spans six city blocks from Stonewall to 5th Street.

Attendees can expect delicious food while strolling along enjoying street performances and interactive tours.

It’s important to note that anyone who has not yet received their COVID-19 vaccine, but is eligible, can do so at the VaxClinic on the third base side at Truist Field this weekend.

Taste of Charlotte is a family-friendly event and has a little of every cuisine Charlotte has to offer.
