KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – The family of a missing Concord woman is still looking for answers in her disappearance. Loved ones gathered at Clove Leaf Plaza in Kannapolis to celebrate Jordan Smith’s 28th birthday. They lit candles as a symbol of the light she was in their lives. Smith hasn’t been seen since April.
Her mother says Thursday’s celebration isn’t just about her daughter. Tracie Barbee says, “This is not just for her. It’s for all missing. We’re trying to bring awareness to missing and addiction, and all the people who seem to get left behind. Who don’t stand out in society.”
A reward fund has been set up here to collect money to give to the person or people who provides information that can help find Jordan Smith.
