CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds’ WinterFest is opening on Saturday, a week earlier than previous seasons, bringing holiday fun for the whole family to enjoy.
“The community has been tremendously supportive of Carowinds in 2021,” said Manny Gonzalez, Carowinds general manager. “We wanted to return WinterFest to the Carolinas earlier this year to thank our guests and help them get started in making new holiday memories at this beautiful outdoor holiday event.”
Park officials say Carowinds will be decked out for the holidays beginning this weekend, November 13th-14th, for limited operation with select rides, activities, and shows available for guests.
Officials say full operation for WinterFest begins November 19th, and continues on select nights through January 9th.
WinterFest features enchanting themed areas, live entertainment, holiday lights, decor, ice skating, family rides, and a high-energy holiday parade.
