The Charlotte Independence Soccer Club secured a playoff spot in the USL Championship for the second year in a row last Saturday, beating Carolina rivals Charleston Battery 5-1, and are now pushing for a second place finish in the Eastern Atlantic Division table in the hopes of hosting a first round playoff match in November.
With just three regular season games left, Independence will be playing to keep their momentum going as they head into the post-season. Their final regular season home game comes 5pm Wednesday, October 27th at American Legion Memorial Stadium – tickets available here.
