CMPD Animal Care & Control Participates In Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty The Shelters Holiday Hope Event





CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — Bissell Pet Foundation is bringing hope to homeless pets across the country this holiday season with its “Empty the Shelters – Holiday Hope” event, December 6 – 20, 2021. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control (AC&C) is one of more than 200 participating shelters across the country reducing adoption fees to help pets find their adoptive families.

In an effort that has helped more than 67,758 pets find homes in shelters throughout the country, Bissell Pet Foundation is once again happy to sponsor reduced adoption fees for $25 or less. The “Empty the Shelters – Holiday Hope” event will be hosted in more than 200 shelters in 40 states, including AC&C.

Bissell Pet Foundation will donate up to $100 for every dog or cat adopted to AC&C to support shelter programs to create fee-waived adoptions during this event.

When: December 6 – 20, 2021

Where: CMPD Animal Care & Control Adoption Center – 8315 Byrum Drive – Charlotte

Time: Open weekdays – 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM & weekends 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Details: CMPD Animal Care & Control will be waiving adoption fees throughout this event when a financial donation is made to support shelter programs.
