COVID Heroes Can Get Free Burger In Mooresville On October 21





MOORESVILLE, N.C. — COVID Heroes are being appreciated later this month with a free burger at The Barcelona Burger & Beer Garden in Mooresville.

The Mooresville restaurant will be hosting a Heroes Appreciation Day on Thursday, Oct. 21 for any and all healthcare worker, police officer, firefighter, teacher, day care worker, or grocery store worker.

The heroes will receive a complimentary Barcelona Classic or All-American burger with fries and a soft drink. To get the free meal all you have to do is show your workplace ID badge.

Each hero can have a pick of one of their burgers. The burgers are made with certified Angus beef with The Barcelona Classic being topped with American cheese, lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion, and house sauce while The All-American is dressed up with American cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, tomato, lettuce, onion, and house sauce.

“Everyone has been working hard for many months to keep the community healthy and the economy going during COVID,” says Michal Bay, owner of The Barcelona Burger. “We’re glad to lift their spirits with good food.”

The Barcelona is located at Merino Mill, on S. Main Street in Mooresville. The offer is available from 11:30 a.m. until closing around 8:30 p.m. The Barcelona will not be able to take call-in orders on this special day.
