Rain chances increase from the southwest through the overnight hours. Most of this rain will be a light drizzle, but some moderate pockets are possible.
WHERE: Rain coverage will be numerous to widespread south of I-85 with coverage more scattered north of I-85.
WHEN: Rain will start between midnight and 2 AM then taper west to east through mid morning.
We need days and days of rain to get us out of the drought, so while this will not make a dent in our drought conditions this will help with the fire danger. Those south of I-85 could see 0.50” – 1” with lesser amounts the farther northwest you are.
Clouds will decrease through Wednesday afternoon with a nice, but cool day on tap. Thankfully, there is more rain in the forecast – Friday and Saturday looks to bring our next big chance.
