McDonald’s has partnered with apparel brand Boxlunch to release a line release of clothing and accessories based on the world famous fast-food restaurant. The McDonald’s inspired items include a hamburger hoodie, a backpack covered in the McDonald’s logo and a Happy Meal-shaped purse. Boxlunch says it’s partnered with Feeding America and will donate a meal to a person in need for every $10 spent on the merchandise.
Samuel Adams is releasing a new limited edition beer that many including North and South Carolinians will not be able to buy. The Sam Adams “Utopias” contain 28% alcohol by volume, which is five times the potency of typical U.S. brews. For those who will be able to purchase it, it costs $240 for a 25-ounce bottle.
Getting ready for Santa Claus will be more expensive for some people this December. The artificial Christmas tree industry expects the price tag on its products to go up by double-digit percentages. Some holiday companies say current global supply problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and high shipping expenses are among the reasons why artificial tree costs are going up.
