Fantastic Fall Weather Ahead – WCCB Charlotte’s CW

While temperatures will steadily warm up throughout the week, the summertime feels are now in the rearview mirror.

After record heat roasted the Carolinas earlier this week, a strong front has stopped summer cold in its tracks. It took us about a month into the season, but it’s finally feeling like fall for the week ahead. While temperatures will steadily warm up over the next several days, the seemingly endless summerlike heat is now behind us. Expect highs in the 60s and 70s for much of this week to go along with abundant sunshine. Rain chances remain low through the workweek, but we’ll need to watch for the arrival of another cold front by next weekend.

Tonight: Clear and chilly. Mountain frost. Low: 42°. Wind: NW 5-10.

Monday: Beautiful. High: 74°. Wind: W 5-10.

Monday Night: Another chilly night. Low: 47°. Wind: Light.

Tuesday: Fantastic fall weather. High: 76°. Wind: SW 5-10.
