Humane Society Of Charlotte Reaches Annual Adoption Goal More Than One Month Early

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — The Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC) reached and has since surpassed, its annual goal of finding homes for 3,000 animals in 2021. This goal was completed on November 16, 2021, with the adoption of Ralph (pictured). Though their annual goal has been met, HSC continues to focus on finding homes for all of the animals in their care throughout the holidays.

Comparatively, HSC re-homed 2,999 animals in 2020.

The Humane Society of Charlotte is a 43-year old organization that follows a no-kill philosophy. Each year, the organization sets a goal to find new, loving homes for at least 3,000 animals. Companion dogs and cats are available for adoption by appointment. In Spring 2022, the Humane Society of Charlotte will move to its new location, the HSC Animal Resource Center on Berryhill Drive.
