Hundreds Of Corvette Owners Kick Off Holiday Season With A Toy Drive For The Salvation Army Of Greater Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Hundreds of Corvette owners came together on Saturday and collected over 1,000 toys for The Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte’s “Angel Tree” Christmas assistance program.

Starting at 9 a.m. at Carolina Place Mall, officials say Corvette owners were able to collect 1, 056 toys for children this holiday season.

Officials say Corvette Angels is an event organized by Charlotte’s Road Runner Vettes Corvette Club.

The club pulled together the area Corvette community for the toy drive on Saturday with participation from Queen City Corvette Club, Victory Lane Corvette Club, Carolina Classic Corvette Club, Generations Corvette Club, Foothills Corvette Club, Rutherford County Corvettes, Invictus Corvette Club, Corvettes of the Carolinas, and many others.
