CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said one person was injured after an early Wednesday morning shooting on a light rail train in south Charlotte.
The shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. near South Boulevard.
According to police, one person was struck in the shooting and is being treated at a hospital.
Detectives are speaking to everyone involved and are not searching for any additional suspects at this time.
The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
