Ongoing Dispute Between Troutman Neighbors Lead To Shooting





TROUTMAN, N.C. — The Troutman Police Department is investigating after a neighbor dispute left one person suffering from a gunshot wound Sunday.

Police responded to Rooster Tail Lane around 1:20 p.m. after a report that a person was shot. The incident was related to an ongoing neighbor dispute, according to officials.

Officers detained one person person at the scene. The victim in the case is being treated and is in stable condition, police say.

No names have been released due to the status of the investigation.

The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
