Overnight Showers Ahead of Weekend Cool Down

[ad_1]

Tracking a series of cold fronts that will eventually bring a winter chill.

A cold front will track across the area overnight bringing a line of showers and isolated thunderstorms. Severe weather is not expected, but rumbles of thunder are certainly possible. Most neighborhoods have a good chance to pick up at least .25” of rain which would be a great thing considering we are well below average for rainfall. The rain ends west to east very early on Friday with clouds decreasing through the first half of Friday.

Another area of high pressure will briefly build in allowing for plenty of sunshine to build in. A reinforcing cold front will track across the region late Friday night into early Saturday dropping temperatures through the weekend. Another reinforcing cold front will swing through Sunday evening leaving us with more of a winter chill to kick off next week.

Tonight: Showers. Isolated thunderstorms. Low: 56.

Friday: Early morning showers. AM decreasing clouds. High: 70.

Saturday: Sunny. Cooler. High: 63.

Happy Thursday!
