Pleasant Start to Week – WCCB Charlotte’s CW

AM Headlines:

  • Frost Advisories through 9 am south of I-85
  • Pleasant and Sunny Days
  • Rain Returns Thursday

Discussion:

High pressure will regain control of the area as a coastal low wiggles away from the Carolinas. Sunny days and warmer weather will take control through mid-week. Highs will reach the low 70s this afternoon. Overnight lows will also warm. Today’s frost advisory will likely be the last as the growing season ends November 11 for the region and overnight lows will be well adobe the criteria for the rest of the week. Temps will warm to the mid to upper 70s by tomorrow with sunny skies through mid-week. A cold front will bring clouds and better rain chances to the forecast for Veteran’s Day. Showers and a few storms will persist through Friday. Any lingering showers will wrap Saturday morning. Temps will tumble this weekend with highs only reaching the low 60s Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning temps will fall to the mid-30s with daytime highs only reaching the mid-50s under sunny skies.
