CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say two men were taken to a hospital Friday night after being shot near an east Charlotte apartment complex.
Officers responded to reports of the shooting on Carya Pond Lane around 8:45 p.m., and upon arrival, found two men with gunshot wounds.
Medic then transported these men to local hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say this case is in the beginning stages and is an active and ongoing investigation.
