Police Asking Public’s Help Identifying People At Boone Bar During Incident That Left Man With Head Trauma





BOONE, N.C. — The Boone Police Department is asking for the public’s help after a man suffering head trauma at a Boone bar in September.

Police responded to Ransom Pub, located on West King Street, to assist EMS personnel with an unconscious man on Sept. 24. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a medical condition and was transported to the Watauga Medical Center.

Investigating officers later determined that the man suffered significant head trauma during an interaction with others while at the pub.

High Country Crime Stoppers and Boone Police are seeking to identify the individuals who were in contact with the victim at the time of his injury. Officials are also seeking any witnesses to the incident or those who may have been present when the incident occurred.
