Police: Person Shot In A Vehicle In Kannapolis Airlifted To Hospital With Life-Threatening Injuries





 

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Police say a person shot inside their car on Thursday in Kannapolis was airlifted to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say the shooting occurred on C Street in Kannapolis, N.C. around 2:42 p.m.

WCCB reports the victim’s car ended up on a curb in front of G.W. Carver Elementary School with multiple shell casing markers in the street.

Authorities note that the shooting did not occur on school property, and no students were on campus at the time of the shooting, as the school closed for Veterans Day.
