Bright sunshine and warmer temperatures return by the second half of the weekend.

The past few days have been gorgeous, but big changes arrived today as a moisture-laden system sweeps in from the west. Widespread showers will continue to fall into Thursday evening, as most communities pick up anywhere between .5-1.5″ before the rain tapers off overnight. While rain chances dive back into the isolated range, the clouds will stick around. Expect highs to hover in the 50s and 60s over the next two days as gray skies continue their dominance.

More sunshine returns on Halloween Sunday as temperatures will warm back to near-normal values in the 60s and 70s. Sunday night’s lows will be in the 30s and 40s, so make sure to bundle up under your costume!

Tonight: Scattered showers. Rain tapers off late. Low: 57°. Wind: SE 5-15.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with isolated showers. High: 62°. Wind: SW 5-15.

Friday Night: Remaining cloudy with some drizzle. Low: 50°. Wind: SW 5-10.

Saturday: A few peeks of sunshine. PM isolated drizzle. High: 64°. Wind: SW 5-10.
