Troopers: Driver Dies In Fiery Lancaster County Crash





LANCASTER CO., S.C. — Troopers are investigating a fatal car accident that occurred on Saturday after the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet truck died when their car burst into flames during a crash.

Troopers say around 1:30 p.m., the driver was heading north on U.S. Highway 521 when they went off the roadway to the left, hit a tree, and their car went up in flames.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released.

The investigation into the crash is active and ongoing.
