CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In celebration of the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit’s success, Blumenthal Performing Arts has partnered with Lighthouse Immersive to bring the Vincent Van Gogh hot air balloon to Charlotte.
The 91-foot tall hot air balloon will take a tethered flight in Ballantyne’s Backyard beginning at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7th.
Officials say the arrival of the hot air balloon comes after the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in Charlotte was successfully extended three times, more than 280,000 tickets were sold, and it made an estimated local economic impact of more than $38 million.
