CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Beginning Saturday, Walgreens will start offering all versions of the COVID-19 vaccine booster nationwide to anyone over the age of 18.
Officials say the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine boosters are now available at nearly 9,000 Walgreens pharmacy locations.
This expanded eligibility comes as many families prepare to travel for the holidays and as COVID-19 variants continue to emerge, putting people at greater risk, according to a news release.
Officials say all adults over 18, who have received their Pfizer or Moderna primary vaccine series at least six months ago or received a Johson & Johnson dose at least two months ago, are eligible and recommended to receive a booster shot.
