CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Millions of couples postponed their proposals and weddings due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, but now that the world is seeing some normalcy, these couples are ready to take the next big step.
The upcoming proposal boom is expected this holiday season – historically the time of year when most engagements happen.
In fact, according to the Wedding Report, next year the number of weddings is anticipated to reach 2.5 million – the highest number since 1984!
Lauren McDonald spoke with fashion and trends writer, Jamila Stewart and diamond expert, Tara Zerr about some of the biggest engagement and wedding trends they’re seeing right now.
