Winter Chill Continues, Warm-Up on Horizon

[ad_1]

The rollercoaster temperatures continue into the third week of November.

Near-freezing temperatures ripped back into the Carolinas last night, but warmer weather is on the way. That said, it may get worse before it gets better for most of us. A second cold front rolls in this evening, which will bring single-digit wind chills and even a few snow showers for our High Country. Meanwhile, the Piedmont and Foothills remain dry and cold in the mid-30s over the next two nights.

Warmer air begins to move in by midweek, which could push the Metro back into the 70s both Wednesday and Thursday. Rain chances remain few and far between for much of the week ahead, but a few showers could roll in on Thursday and Friday. Expect another wintry chill to arrive by next weekend.

Tonight: Another chilly night. Mountain flurries. Low: 35°. Wind: W 5-10.

Monday: Cool sunshine. High: 58°. Wind: NW 5-10.

Monday Night: Clear. Near-freezing lows. Low: 33°. Wind: Light.

Tuesday: More sunshine. A bit warmer. High: 66°. Wind: SW 5-10.
