LANCASTER, S.C. – A suspect is in custody following a deadly shooting in Lancaster.
Police arrested 21-year-old Curtis Townsend, after finding him hiding in a trash can near the murder scene.
Investigators say Townsend shot a woman several times during an argument, then tossed the gun.
It happened on Caroline Court around Noon on Saturday.
The victim died at the hospital. Their name has not been released.
